How was your first day of clinical attachment?(share your views ... please sign in and write in our blog)

As for me ... I am posted @ cgh group 2 under the supervision of ms doris lim ... in our class ... me, harizah and nadia are in the same group. well ... our first day, i guess nadia and harizah will agree on me when i say that we are all nervous when we already started doing basic nursing care for the patients during our first day ... actually ... i already did my first oral feeding to the patient ... it's not yet the real thing ... it's just like a try out ... well ... i won't go much in detail coz some are meant to be in private ...

Anyway ... though it was kindda tough, even if we felt tired walking here and there and even if we looked confused ... it gave us such satisfaction just to be able to see the smiles on our patient's face.

There are more things to come ... whenever you feel that you are going to do something tough ... or hard ... think of it as a challenge ... accept your own faults because it is for our own good and for you to learn from mistakes ... it will benefit you!

I guess all of us did not feel any pressure yet coz it is just our first day ... it's just an orientation day for us ... but tmr ... it's the real thing ... ! remember ... the most important word SAFETY ... of YOU and your PATIENTS! ...

That's all for now ... ha ha ... miss u all =)
